Strut Rosacea Formula is a physician and pharmacist formulated compounded medication meant to target Rosacea symptoms. Strut Rosacea may help reduce redness, swelling, flushing, and small pimples characteristic of rosacea when used regularly and as prescribed.

How does Rosacea Formula #2 work?

Strut Rosacea Formula combines up to three prescription medications meant to target Rosacea symptoms. Azelaic acid is a mild naturally occurring acid that may reduce redness, swelling, and clear excess bacteria. Metronidazole is a topical antibiotic that can help reduce the swelling and inflammation of irritated skin, while reducing the number of pimples. And Ivermectin is a medication with anti-inflammatory effects which aids in reducing skin mites and facial redness.

How should I use Rosacea Formula #2?

Wash your face with a mild soap and water. Apply the cream in a thin layer and gently massage into the entire face once daily (forehead, nose, each cheek, and chin) avoid the lips, mouth, inside of the nose, and eyes. You may apply make-up or other cosmetics once the cream is fully dry. Wash hands before and after application. Follow your doctor's specific orders if you are unsure how to use the medication.

What is in my Rosacea Formula #2?

Your formula may contain any of the following ingredients: Ivermectin, Metronidazole, Azelaic Acid. Please refer to your prescription label for the actual drug concentrations for the active ingredients.

What are the common side effects of Rosacea Formula #2?

Common side effects may include: mild to moderate dryness, scaling, itching, stinging, burning, or local allergic reactions. Stop using this medicine and call your doctor at once if side effects are severe. Do not ingest this medication. This is a medication to be used topically only and may be harmful if swallowed.

Instructions:

This treatment plan may help: reduce the redness, swelling, flushing, and small pimples characteristic of rosacea when used regularly and as prescribed. The main mechanism of action is to clear excess bacteria and Demodex mites on the skin while reducing redness, inflammation, swelling, and pimples.

It may take several weeks to months to see maximum results, some improvement normally occurs within 4 weeks. Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use the medicine exactly as directed. Using more medicine or applying it more often than prescribed will not make it work any faster, and may increase side effects. Do not take by mouth. Topical medicine is for use only on the skin, and may be harmful if swallowed. Avoid getting this medication in your eyes or mouth, if this does occur, rinse with water. If you ingest this medication call a doctor or the poison control center immediately.

Do not use on sunburned, broken skin, or skin affected by eczema. Wash your hands before and after applying formula. Before applying, clean and dry the skin area to be treated. Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. You can use this medicine in conjunction with other topical skin products, but avoid other products that also contain Azelaic Acid, Metronidazole, Ivermectin, skin products that cause irritation, or other topical medications unless directed otherwise by your doctor.

Allergies:

This medication may cause allergic reactions if you are allergic to a component of the medication or medications similar to the ingredients in this product. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed (Ingredients: Azelaic Acid, Metronidazole, Ivermectin) please stop the compound, reach out to us and contact your doctor. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, you may be having an acute allergic reaction and you need to get emergency medical help immediately.

You may experience side effects with these medications. These side effects are common and may go away with time and daily use:

  • scaling
  • itching
  • stinging
  • burning
  • local allergic reactions

  • severe dryness
  • severe scaling
  • severe itching
  • severe stinging
  • severe burning
  • severe or acute allergic reactions

You should also avoid other products known to cause skin irritation on the area of treatment such as: medicated or abrasive soaps, chemical hair removers or waxes, electrolysis, products with alcohol or astringents, and cosmetics with a strong drying effect.
